THE FIRST STEP

A comprehensive personalized assessment is the first step to a successful recovery plan to determine the scope of the addictive disease and the best course of treatment to assist you in getting your life back.

After the assessment, the assessing counselor will recommend a type of treatment based on safety concerns and medical necessity. The recommended treatment will occur on either an inpatient or outpatient basis. If you are assessed as needing treatment, you will be offered admission to one of our programs or offered referrals.

You owe it to yourself to get the support you deserve from people who won't judge you and have the training, experience, and compassion you need to begin the recovery process. We are committed to providing the highest standards of treatment for drug addiction and helping each patient develop the tools necessary for continued growth and recovery.

MORAL RECONATION THERAPY (MRT®)

MRT® is an objective, systematic treatment system designed to enhance ego, social, moral, and positive behavioral growth in a progressive, step-by-step fashion.

This is a six-month structured program that focuses on beliefs, attitudes, and behaviors while assisting individuals in moving from being stuck to taking personal responsibility for their lives. It attempts to change how persons who use substances make decisions and judgments by raising moral reasoning. MRT® focuses on seven basic treatment issues:

FAMILY PROGRAM

We feel that support for the significant people involved with the chemically dependent person is very important and, therefore, we extend an invitation to family members, significant others, or friends to join our family program. The significant people in the lives of our patients attend our family program every week for one hour, morning and evening groups are available.

A typical group consists of being with the person you are supporting and attending a lecture, or sometimes viewing a film during the educational part of the program. The Family Program consists of 9 one-hour sessions and we consider it a very important part of the overall recovery process.

The goal is to understand the relapse process and relapse symptomology and develop the ability to take appropriate action to maintain sobriety.

POSITIVE CHOICES

This 6- to 12-month in-depth educational program is for individuals diagnosed with mild substance use disorder. Positive Choices provides participants the opportunity to learn to make better choices and establish a foundation for positive lifestyle change.

The program is designed to help individuals make informed decisions about the consequences of alcohol and other drug use in their life, as well as change their impaired driving behavior.

PARTIAL HOSPITALIZATION PROGRAM (PHP)

Our most intensive program is designed to provide support to those struggling with substance use and do not require 24-hour care to manage these challenges.

This program is appropriate for individuals transitioning out of residential or inpatient treatment, and that are undergoing the difficult process of reintegrating into their communities. This program is also for individuals who may requrie extra daily support while living at home.
